Wolf Spiders

This week we have been writing about Spiders.  We looked at a picture of this big, brown, hairy spider and thought that it might be a Tarantula! RF knows lots about spiders and told us all that Tarantulas were black and orange and that this type was brown.  We found out that it is called a Wolf Spider and we think it is because it is hairy like a wolf!

Some of us were really scared to look at the photo, however we were brave, and did some excellent descriptive writing.

Writing by FS.  We like how they list just about everything that the Wolf Spider can do.
Writing by JJ.  This person has used the word 'Ginormous' in their writing. What a fantastic word!
What other spiders do you know about?
