Night and Day



This week we have been thinking, talking, listening and drawing about Daytime and Night time.

Here are some of the things that we came up with.  Can you add any to the list?

  • Sky
  • Moon
  • Stars
  • Nocturnal animals (Well done TS and RN)
  • Working Nights
  • Emergency services
  • Cleaners
  • People living on the otherside of the world (Hello Class 6)

    Some flowers close their petals up tight overnight ... like daisies, then in the morning sun they unfurl and blossom in the daylight.

    Jay - "Bats come out at night."

    David - "Hedgehogs live in the wild and they are nocturnal animals."

    Natasha "The stars are out at night."

    Sam "Some bats hibernate."

    Georgia "Some bats live in caves."

    Charlie "When the moon comes out you can sometimes see planets."
